Long-Term ELA Substitute Teacher

This position will include two sections of English III and one section of Psychology through the end of September, and two sections of ELA intervention through early November. There is potential for consideration for a longer-term position at Crosstown at the end of this period.
Long-Term Substitute ELA Teacher Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with lead teachers to develop and execute lesson plans for daily classes
- Develop meaningful and supportive relationships with students through a positive youth development and restorative justice lens
- Facilitate an advisory group of 15-20 students
- Develop and maintain positive relationships and communication with parents and families
- Monitor students’ progress towards performance outcomes and personal learning goals
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the leadership team to support and strengthen the community
