Job Description:
Arrow Academy of Excellence was established for the purposes of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group an individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Holds a current TN teaching license in Elementary Education
• At least 1 years of experience working with students in a minority setting

Responsibilities:

• Implement diverse teaching strategies to engage all students and develop instructional materials.
• Analyze student performance data to create tailored instructional tools for individual learning needs.
• Ensure compliance with grade-level standards and instructional objectives while managing work.
• Develop and deliver daily and weekly lesson plans for students.
• Supervise student work, provide guidance, and prepare instructional assignments as needed.
• Design and apply effective teaching strategies for students at all grade levels, fostering a positive classroom environment.
• Administer assessment schedules and conduct formative evaluations to track student progress.
• Compile and distribute progress reports while maintaining clear communication with students.
• Create a supportive and productive learning environment for all students.
• Keep accurate records of student attendance and track inventory of classroom supplies.
• Oversee and enforce adherence to school policies and regulations in all academic activities.
• Build and sustain strong relationships between teachers and parents to support student success.
• Maintain and update student records regularly to ensure accurate documentation.
