Role:
The Operations Manager is a versatile and team oriented individual with abilities and experience across operations, logistics, finance, and academic administration. The Operations Manager serves as a vital link between the school and the community, from helping parents and families navigate, to working with stakeholders and organizations. The Operations Manager is fiercely positive, growth oriented, and has the drive to execute on the vision of high quality integrity. The Operations Manager manages a team of 3 operations team members, and reports to the Executive Director.

Collaboration with the Leadership Team and instructional staff is key to supporting families and stakeholders. A successful Operations Manager takes ownership of school operations, ensures efficiency, and continuously seeks improvement through self-reflection and openness to feedback. They actively participate in school community activities and events while exercising sound judgment in decision-making.
Work at a Glance:
Payroll and Administrative Management:
- Undergo training to manage payroll processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
Budget and Procurement:
- Oversee purchases, reimbursements, and supply orders.
- Oversee the maintenance of materials and supplies.
School Systems and Scheduling:
- Oversee PowerSchool management, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain the master schedule.
- Oversee roster uploads for student enrollment and class assignments.
- Manage immunization reporting.
- Maintain and manage inventory records and procurement.
- Track and analyze key operational metrics using the district’s operations scorecard.
Recruitment and Enrollment:
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
- Oversee student registration processes to ensure a smooth experience for families.
- Conduct and manage family tours, providing a welcoming introduction to the school.
Facility and Grounds Management:
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of school facilities.
- Oversee the upkeep of school grounds, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Manage school food service operations in compliance with district guidelines.
Technology and Equipment Management:
- Oversee copier and printer maintenance and functionality.
- Provide basic support for school laptops and coordinate technical troubleshooting as needed.
Operational Systems and Afterschool Programs:
- Oversee and maintain operational systems to streamline workflows.
- Manage Brightwheel, ensuring effective communication and record-keeping.
- Oversee after-school programs, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Operations Team Management:
- Conduct weekly one-on-one check-ins and team meetings with the operations team
- Support the work of the operations team
Compensation and Benefits:
- The Operations Manager is a full-time employee.
- Full salary up to $60,000
