Role:
The Special Projects Coordinator is responsible for supporting key initiatives and ensuring smooth execution of various school programs and events. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with families, staff, leadership, and community members. The Special Projects Coordinator will manage recruitment support, family engagement, event planning, and logistics, contributing to an efficient and well- organized school environment. The Special Projects Coordinator reports to the Operations Manager.

Collaboration with the Leadership Team and instructional staff is key to supporting families and stakeholders. A successful Special Projects Coordinator takes ownership of school operations, ensures efficiency, and continuously seeks improvement through self-reflection and openness to feedback. They actively participate in school community activities and events while exercising sound judgment in decision-making.
Work at a Glance:
Recruitment, Registration, and Family Engagement:
- Assist with student recruitment efforts to attract prospective families.
- Support the registration process to ensure a seamless experience for families.
- Provide assistance with family tours as needed, offering an informative and welcoming introduction to the school.
- Facilitate communication with families, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing.
- Coordinate communication for progress and report card conferences.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
- Support student registration processes to ensure a smooth experience for families.
- Conduct family tours, providing a welcoming introduction to the school.
Marketing and Digital Presence:
- Lead the school’s social media presence, managing content and engagement.
- Maintain and update the school website with current information and announcements.
Logistics and Scheduling Support:
- Assist with substitute planning and project coordination.
- Provide logistical support for field trips, ensuring smooth planning and execution.
- Serve as the dismissal lead for the middle to ensure safety and efficiency.
Event Planning and School Community Engagement:
- Coordinate family orientation sessions to introduce families to school policies and expectations.
- Serve on event communities and manage the budget related to special events
- Oversee uniform distribution and compliance support.
- Support advocacy initiatives and parent engagement events.
- Assist in planning and executing school drives, fundraisers, and community initiatives.
- Provide logistical and planning support for staff and student events.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The Operations Manager is a full-time employee.
- Retirement benefits, paid vacation, health benefits, and school holidays
- Full salary up to $50,000
