General Overview
Position: Office Administrator: Attendance
Reports to: Director of Operations
Works Closely with: Culture & Attendance Lead

Position Type: 12 Month position, Full-Time (7:45 am – 3:45 pm, M-F, with school breaks)
Starting Salary: $40,000. Pay increases are available based on skills and experience.

Office Administrator of Attendance Job Description
As the Office Administrator for Attendance at Crosstown High, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the attendance is up to date and accurate within our school-wide information systems. You will be responsible for attendance reporting and entering, providing documentation for truancy needs for the Director of Culture, handling daily incoming communications as needed, and general administrative support across the school campus.
Responsibilities:
- Attendance Specialist Duties: Manage, organize, and maintain all attendance records for the school on a daily basis.
- Daily Attendance Management: Accurately record and update student attendance in PowerSchool, maintain logs, and process excused absences.
- Attendance Reporting: Prepare and share monthly reports with families, analyze trends, and provide updates for culture team and leadership meetings.
- Collaboration with Culture Team: Attend weekly meetings, communicate daily with the Culture Lead, and support attendance-related needs.
- Data Management: Record and verify tardy and enrollment data, ensure PowerSchool accuracy, and compile attendance reports.
- Compliance & Development: Stay updated on attendance laws and attend relevant training sessions.
- Other Duties: Perform tasks assigned by the Director of Operations and Director of Culture.
- Office Administrator Duties: Support day-to-day office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a well-maintained and efficient work environment. Front desk duties are part of this role on a rotational basis. Such as answering phone calls, issue tardy slips each morning,
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in an educational or similar setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.

- Strong connection and relationship building skills with caregivers.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software applications.

- Proficiency in Powerschool and Student Information Systems
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing priorities and demands.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
