Dean of Students
The Dean of Students fosters a positive, Christ-centered school culture that supports the spiritual, academic, and character development of students from PK to 8th grade. Reporting to the principal, the dean ensures a consistent student culture across all grades and plays a crucial role in nurturing a respectful, orderly, and biblically grounded environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Model a love for God and His children.
- Lead student behavior, dress code, and attendance policies.
- Lead parent conferences.
- Partner with school leadership on key initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
- Promote a joyful, structured, and achievement-oriented school culture.
- Be highly visible during school hours and student activities.
- Attend after-school events and field trips.
- Clarify and uphold behavioral expectations with staff.
- Support classroom management.
- Implement and monitor school-wide behavior systems.
- Coordinate with counselors on restorative discipline plans.
- Communicate with all stakeholders regarding student concerns.
- Develop small groups to address specific student needs.
- Maintain accurate discipline records and documentation.
- Coach teachers on classroom management strategies.
- Celebrate student growth and achievement.
- Oversee attendance initiatives through data monitoring and family outreach.
- Keep the administration informed of relevant student matters.
- Apply grace and consequences through a biblical lens.
- Other duties as assigned by the principal.

• Strong communicator
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching, counseling, or school administration
• Master’s degree in educational leadership (preferred)
