Memphis College Preparatory Elementary School opened its doors in August 2010 to an inaugural class of kindergarten students, the college class of 2027. MCP is proud to be a Level 5 Performance School as well as a Reward School in the State of Tennessee for the 2022-2023 School Year. We currently have a 93% Staff Retention Rate.

Our mission is to prepare students in kindergarten through fifth grade with the academic and ethical character foundation necessary to excel in school and in life. Our classrooms are named after colleges because our students are preparing each day to complete their journey to college graduation.
