Position Overview:
Position Overview: Empower Memphis is seeking an Academic Success Coach to provide targeted academic interventions and support for students who need additional instruction in literacy and/or math. This role is essential to ensuring that all students are on track for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver small group or one-on-one academic interventions aligned to student needs.
- Use assessment data to track progress and adjust instructional strategies.
- Support teachers with student-specific academic planning and interventions.
- Collaborate with staff and families to build learning plans for struggling students.
- Provide positive reinforcement and motivation to help students meet goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Experience with academic intervention or tutoring preferred.
- Strong data analysis and instructional skills.
- Passion for supporting struggling learners.
