Position: Spanish Teacher (Part-time)

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a love for God and His children.
Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned language arts lessons. Develop instructional materials and lesson plans tailored to meet students’ individual needs.
Regularly conduct assessments and analyze data to inform teaching strategies and help develop personalized goals for students.
Use research-backed strategies along with school-approved curricula to help students improve their academic, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Establish clear expectations and procedures to maintain a safe and effective classroom environment.
Create a classroom environment that is warm, friendly, full of joy, curiosity, and care.
Maintain accurate and complete student records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the classroom.
Lead students in daily worship through prayer, singing, scripture memory, service, and reflection. Teach biblical truth and incorporate a biblical worldview into every part of the day.
Demonstrate a commitment to personal, professional, and spiritual growth.
Maintain consistent and prompt communication with parents and guardians.
Actively participate as a school community member by attending events, staff meetings, discipleship, and other opportunities.
Work with grade-level teams and co-curricular colleagues to promote comprehensive student development.
Perform other related duties as assigned or directed by the principal.

Qualifications and Attributes:

Bachelor’s degree or higher
Teacher Licensure is preferred.
Possesses extensive content knowledge and effective teaching skills in language arts.
A professing Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is dedicated to Christ-centered education.
Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the responsibilities and duties of the position.
Have a proven history of setting high expectations for each student and working hard to support their growth and success.
Knowledgeable about social and emotional development in middle school students.
