KIPP Memphis is seeking dedicated and passionate Substitute Teachers to join our team. As a substitute teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education for our students in the absence of their regular teachers. Responsibilities:
Implement lesson plans effectively and engagingly.
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
Provide individual support to students as needed.
Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess.
Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school staff.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Strongly Preferred). (Preferred)
Experience or Degree in Chemistry (Required). (Preferred)
Completion of Erin’s Law Online Training (Required). (Preferred)
Completion of Jason Flatt Act Training (Required – must be completed annually). (Preferred)
Successful completion of KIPP Memphis Background Check (Required). (Preferred)
