Job Board

Submitting Jobs

Go to the Submit Jobs page if you are ready to get a job posted on our Job Board.

You will need to be logged in to the site in order to submit a job. When you land on the Submit Jobs page, it’ll confirm that you are logged in and show your account information.

When all your details are filled out and you are ready to submit your posting, click the “Preview” button at the button. Then, once you confirm all looks good, click “Submit Listing”.

If you aren’t ready to submit just yet, click “Save Draft” and you’ll be able to access it in your Jobs Dashboard at a later time.

Note: Your job posts will auto expire from the job board after 30 days. If you still need a job post on the board, you can republish it from your Jobs Dashboard.

How to Use Your Job Dashboard

Your Jobs Dashboard is your main base for all your job postings. It displays all your current, draft, and expired postings. 

You’ll also be able to see some top information about each post from this main page in your Jobs Dashboard.

If you hover over a posting of any kind, you’ll see some additional options connected to each post.

Draft Job Posts

Hovering over a Draft job post, will give you the options to “Continue Submission” and “Delete”.

Current Job Posts

Hovering over a Current job post, will give you the options to “Edit”, “Mark Filled”, “Duplicate, and “Delete”.

Expired Job Posts

Hovering over an Expired job post, will give you the options to “Relist” and “Delete”

Viewing Candidates

You will be able to view all the applications and candidates from your Jobs Dashboard by clicking on the number under the “Applications” sections for each job post.

Once you click into the Applications section of a job post, you will be able to view and filter the applicants.

From each candidate that is listed out, you will be able to view their application information, rate them, add private notes on their application, email them, and view the attached or online resume.

Candidate with an attached resume

Candidates that have an attached resume will have an extra button at the bottom right. Their name will also not be a yellow colored link.

To view their attached resume, click the 2nd button — the paperclip/attachment icon.

Candidate with an online resume

Candidates that have an online resume will have their name in yellow to indicate a link to their resume.

To view their online resume, click the name of the Candidate. This will take you to their online resume page.

How to View Candidate Details + Message

To view the candidate’s details and application message, click the menu icon in the bottom right (first icon).

How to add notes on a Candidate

If you are interested in adding notes on a candidate, click the note icon in the bottom right.

How to Message a Candidate

If you are interested in contacting a candidate, click the message icon in the bottom right.

How to update the Status + Rate a Candidate

If you are interested in editing the status of a candidate or adding a star rating, click the edit icon in the bottom right.

Candidate Pool

General Notes

You are able to view Candidates that have an account on Teach901.

By clicking on either their name or photo, you will be able to view their profile. From their profile, you can message them and view their profile information.

You can direct message any Candidate without clicking through to their profile page by clicking the message icon connected to their name.

Sorting + Display Style

From the Candidate Pool page you can sort the members by:

  • Recently Active
  • Newest Members
  • Alphabetical

The page will auto sort the members by “Recently Active”. To adjust the sort, click the dropdown in the upper right corner of the member list.

You can also adjust the display style from the grid to list with the icons next to the sort selection in the upper right corner.

Filtering

Filter Candidates with the column on the right side of the page.

You can filter Candidates by:

  • Job Search Status
  • # of Years Teaching
  • Subject
  • Teacher Type

To bring all the Candidates back and remove the filters, click “Reset” above the “Search” button at the bottom of the filters.
